Not Subjective

Mondays are brutal, non? Mondays, for me, necessitate transcendental beauty to keep the day humming. Exercise, to-do lists and something unequivocally beautiful to feel good.

Music is generally very personal, very subjective as to one’s personal likes and dislikes, but there are those few artists who I feel like are not subjectively good. If you don’t think they are amazing, I simply DO. NOT. UNDERSTAND. Can we all agree that Jeff Buckley fits this description? His drowning in 1997 was so tragic.  Here is “Lilac Wine”, a song sung previously by Nina Simone, who I also happen to love.
