Switching Teams

I love the idea of music supergroups. It is fantastic when groups play around with their members or even take  a Sabbatical from their group and form another. To me it shows that there is a great brotherhood (or sisterhood) amongst these creative musicians and I love to think of them honing in on their best skills and bringing it to the table to collaborate.  Today’s selection is one of the first supergroups and  they released just one album under the name Blind Faith, but it highlights: Eric Clapton, who had been with Cream and the Yardbirds, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech.

Steve Winwood’s voice in the studio version is INSANE. So beautiful. But, today I am posting a live version that I just found via you tube that is pretty cool.

Enjoy!
